Some common questions and answers about our service are listed below.

How can you provide hosting for free?
All forums are required to display one banner ad on every page. This helps to offset our server and bandwidth costs.

What sort of forum scripts can I install?
You can install any forum script that you like. This includes both free and paid scripts. Two of the most popular free forum scripts are phpBB and Simple Machines (SMF). If the forum script is a paid one, like vBulletin, make sure you have a valid license before installing it.

What topic can my forum be on?
It can be on any topic, as long as it is legal. Though no adult forums allowed.

Can my forum be private and viewable by members only?
Unfortunately no. All forums must be publicly viewable by everyone, including guests.

Will you install the forum script for me?
We do not install scripts at this time. You must know how to install and customise the scripts yourself to apply for hosting here. This is why we require an example site in the application form to see that you have experience with Cpanel and FTP.

Will you transfer my forum from another host?
Yes we can certainly help you with this. After acceptance, simpy send us the Cpanel logins for your old host and we can take care of the rest.

Where can I find your banner code?
This will be sent to you in your welcome email upon acceptance. If you have lost it, please contact us.

What is the best way to stop spammers joining and posting on my forum?
We recommended you install the Stop Forum Spam mod. They have mods for most of the main forum scripts. You should also disable signatures and profile editing until a new member has made several posts. This is to help prevent profile link spam.

Will you ever suspend my forum?
Accounts may be suspended if they are missing our banner code, or filled with spam. You should always be checking and moderating your forums on a frequent basis.
